We request to take any action in defense of a trade union activist victimized for his activities.The management of the Jutrzenka factory- a popular producer of sweets - has dismissed Dariusz Skrzypczak, the chairman of the Solidarity trade union in Goplana company in Poznan (Poland) (from January 2005 owned by Jutrzenka). He was fired on disciplinary grounds for the interview published in local press. Although Skrzypczak had only confirmed the fact that Jutrzenka had introduced new conditions of wages, which are unfavorable for most of the workers of Goplana, the management of the plant acknowledged those words as harmful to the company. It is the second attempt to fire Skrzypczak - the first one took place at the beginning of year 2005.

Rada Nadzorcza nie przyjęła wczoraj zmian w Statucie Cegielskiego, których celem było uniemożliwienie kandydowania autentycznym przedstawicielom załogi HCP do prac w zarządzie, a szczególnie Marcelemu Szaremu. Postanowiono przeprowadzić m.in. konsultacje ze związkami zawodowymi i usunąć wskazane przez Marcela Szarego błędy w przygotowanym projekcie zmian w tym względzie. Świadczy to o pośpiesznym i niedbałym przygotowaniu nowelizacji statutu, którą forsuje nowy prezes zarządu HCP Rafał Wiatr.

W czwartek, 12 lutego, japońscy anarchiści z Federacji Wolnych Robotników (Free Workers' Federation) złożyli na ręce ambasadora Polski w Tokio pismo domagające się zaprzestania planów eksmisji skłotu Rozbrat w Poznaniu. W piśmie, którego kopia została przekazana na adresy władz Poznania oraz poznańskiej policji, japońscy anarchiści wyrazili swoje zaniepokojenie i oburzenie eksmisją skłotersów ze skłotu na ul. Żydowskiej w Poznaniu, jak również zażądali, aby zostawić skłot Rozbrat w spokoju oraz zapewnić godne warunki życiowe wszystkim bezdomnym mieszkańcom Poznania.

Despite the legal protection employers dismiss them on the basis of the article 52 of the Labour Code. The article lets to brake a contract of employment without giving a notice to a workers only when they heavily violate their duties, commit a crime (when the crime is obvious or is judged by court), or if workers thorough their fault have lost qualifications needed for the job. Heavy violation of worker's duties means for instance drinking in a workplace. In Poland the law protects some trade unionists from dismissals in order to protect them against repressions. It means that an employer must not fire an activist without a permission of the committee of trade union the worker belongs to. Obviously when unionist really violate the law (for example drinks or steals) the committee usually agrees to dismiss him.

The Anarchist Federation and the Polish Anarchist Black Cross in the first report published on 21st of December 2004 have paid attention to the fact that "for several years actions of many different political and social groups that openly protest against the Polish government's policy are submitted bigger and bigger repressions, with the use of the police and a machinery of court". This phenomenon is not an incidental, but on a mass scale. For the past 3-4 years many activists of anarchist, antiwar, radical left wing, social worker and ecological movement, have been put on trial. It is easy to see not only the rising number of "political" cases, but also passing by courts higher and higher verdicts. Today a number of police, prosecutor's and legal proceedings is hard to count, however, we can mention these examples:

As most people will admit, this position is not particularly comfortable, and it is difficult to imagine an individual who would be willing to remain in this unpolitical position for a long time. No wonder, therefore, that flats known as squats have nothing to do with permanence. Yet there is a squat in Poland that not only amazes with its longevity, but has already managed to become a legend or even a subject of documentaries and MA theses. In August this year the Rozbrat ("Spilt") squat in Poznan celebrated its 10th anniversary.

Through tens of years of communist dictatorship any studies about the idea and history of anarchist movement were appearing less than rarely, and most often, and to put it mildly – not in a very objective way. After the rebirth of anarchist movement in Poland, a slow process of finding and de-deceiving its roots. The anarchist publishers’ natural reluctance towards national libraries and also not very active winning collections over by employed librarians who got used to "obligatory copy" caused the situation that unofficial publications were almost unavailable. There were and still are private archives but they can be used by only few people.

In der Zeit der sozialistischen Diktatur bekam man so gut wie keine Texte oder Bücher über anarchistische/libertäre Ideen, sie fielen alle der Zensur des Realsozialismus zum Opfer. Nach einer langen Pause kann man erst in den 80er Jahren von einer Widergeburt der anarchistischen Bewegung in Polen reden. Die Anarchistinnen begangen nach ihren verloren gegangen Wurzeln zu suchen und legten ein privates Archiv an (es existiert heute noch). 1997 entstand dann die Anarchistischen Bibliothek im Squat "Rozbrat", in einem eher kleinerem Raum, wo sich heute die Küche der Bewohner von "Rozbrat" befindet. Die Bibliothek wurde am Anfangs meist nur von den Bewohner genutzt. Erst später, als sie dann in einen größeren Raum wechselte, kamen mehr Studenten und andere Leute in die Bibliothek um sich informieren oder um Bücher auszuleihen. Im größeren Raum wurde dann das Archiv gestartet, am Anfang wurden nur Dokumente gesammelt und später dann alle Veröffentlichungen (Bücher, Stickers, Plakate....)

Приветствуем Вас на странице Познаньской Анархистской Библиотеки. Существует она с 1997 года, размещается в двух помещениях сквота «Rozbrat» (подробнее - www.rozbrat.org). Ее ресурсами может воспользоваться каждый, в часы когда библиотека открыта. Целью библиотеки является накопление и предоставление доступа к записанным на различных носителях проявлениям критичной общественной мысли, более или менее связанной с анархистским движением. Предоставленный здесь каталог пока неполный, и, вероятно, какое-то время останется таким, однако мы будем стараться успешно его пополнять.

Kraków w okresie po rewolucji 1905 roku a przed pierwszą wojną światową to miejsce zadziwiające. W atmosferze galicyjskiej autonomii bez przeszkód prowadzą swe działania najróżniejsze ugrupowania polityczne. Stąd tez, gdy w Rosji szaleje kozacka nahajka i pobrzmiewają coraz rzadsze strzały z naganów, tu przybywają odetchnąć zarówno wielcy - od Piłsudskiego po Lenina - jak i mniejsi bojownicy. To także prawdziwy raj dla działalności prowokatorów i agentów carskiej Ochrany. Wszyscy ci ludzie pławią się w gęstym, mistycznym sosie Młodej Polski, która przeżywa właśnie swój rozkwit. Działa legendarny „Zielony Balonik", na Plantach wieczorami wśród mgieł bez trudu spotyka się wędrujące chochoły, a dekadencja przedłużającego się niemiłosiernie końca wieku wyzwala postawy gdzie indziej nie możliwe. Studenci strajkują i demonstrują, artyści piją i tworzą, a przyjezdni zachłystują się wolnością planując kolejne powstania lub rewolucje. Wiosną 1912 roku obiega Kraków informacja o pewnym procesie politycznym. Zarzuty brzmią bardzo poważnie: zbrodnia obrazy majestatu i obrazy członków domu cesarskiego oraz zbrodnia naruszenia spokoju i porządku publicznego. W dniu wizyty arcyksięcia Karola Franciszka i arcyksiężnej Zyty dwóch anarchistów rozrzuca odbitą na hektografie odezwę pod bezpretensjonalnym tytułem: „Arcyksiążę w Krakowie". Główny oskarżony to Augustyn Wróblewski w tym czasie redaktor i wydawca między innymi „Sprawy Robotniczej". Jak przystało na prawdziwego rewolucjonistę postanawia wykorzystać proces jako trybunę do głoszenia swych obrazoburczych poglądów. Znudzony sąd orzeka jednak „badanie stanu umysłowego" oskarżonego, które potwierdza, że jest on co prawda zdrowy, prezentuje jednak „cechy neuropatyczne". Cały szum na nic - przywódca krakowskich anarchistów zostaje uniewinniony. Działalność Wróblewskiego jest jednak szeroko znana krakowianom już od początku wieku, a wspomniany proces stanowi tylko jej apogeum.
